Honda revealed today at the Tokyo auto show the Vezel SUV, which is the production version of their Urban SUV Concept that had its debut at the 2013 NAIAS. Unfortunately, at this time, Honda did not disclose a whole lot of details regarding the Vezel. Its full specifications are going to be announced on December 19, 2013. The Honda Vezel will go on sale the next day. The 2014 Honda Vezel aims to combine the dynamic qualities of an SUV, the elegance of a coupe and the functionality of a minivan. Its lower section is styled like and SUV, while its upper section reminds of an SUV. Does that ring a bell? Did anyone say BMW X6? Honda is going to sell the Vezel with a choice between a petrol and a hybrid powertrain.
The Honda Vezel hybrid is powered by a 1.5-liter direct injection engine and an electric motor. The second version will have just the internal combustion engine. We'll have more details about the 2014 Honda Vezel as soon as they are available.
