Honda released today a sketch of the Civic Wagon that is scheduled to debut at the 2013 Geneva auto show in March. Honda announced its plans to build a wagon version of the European Civic last year, at the Paris motor show. It looks like they're going to keep their promise. The Honda Civic Wagon is still in a concept phase, but if the customers will show a positive reaction, the Japanese carmaker might put it into production. The Honda Civic estate is going to be built in the carmaker Swindon plant and it's meant to consolidate their market position in this particular segment. Unfortunately, Honda is keeping all the details of the Wagon Civic a secret. We can speculate that the Civic Wagon is going to offer the same engine options as the European hatchback model.
This means it could be sold with either a 2.2-liter i-DTEC with an output of 150 PS, or a 1.8-liter i-VTEC with 142 PS or a 1.4 liter i-VTEC developing 100 PS. We'll have more details about the Honda Civic Wagon at the time of its premiere in Geneva.
