Honda has revealed today the production version, 2012 Honda Civic coupe, sedan and hybrid. We'll have to wait a bit longer for the 2012 Civic hatchback. The 2012 Honda Civic sedan and coupe are powered by a 1.8-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine developing 140 hp, which is coupled to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The 2012 Civic sedan and coupe come with ECO Assist technology and are expected to offer a fuel consumption of up to 41 mpg on the highway and 39 mpg in the city.

The 2012 Honda Civic Si is powered by a 2.4-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine which outputs 200 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The officially, and estimated, fuel consumption of the

2012 Civic Si is rated at 31 mpg on the highway.

The 2012 Honda Civic hybrid has an electric motor, which work together with a 1.5-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine that's good for 110 hp. The 2012 Hybrid comes with the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), a Lithium-ion battery and the ECO Assist technology. The Japanese car maker estimates that the new Civic hybrid will offer a fuel consumption of up to 45 mpg on the highway.



The 2012 Honda Civic price list and options will be announced later, closer to the new version's on sale date.
