Honda has released today a sketch of the 2012 Honda Civic Concept which will have its world debut at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in January. The 2012 Honda Civic Concept previews the next generation of the model which will go on sale in the spring of 2011. Apart from this image, the car maker did not release any additional information regarding the ninth generation 2012 Honda Civic.

As seen from this image, the 2012 Honda Civic Concept keeps the general hatchback lines of the current hatch version. We may speculate that the 2012 Honda Civic will also keep the general proportions of the current model which is sold in Europe and other markets.

The 2012 Honda Civic Concept shows a new front bumper, with integrated LED daytime running lights, a new grille, and modified headlights.

Further details of the 2012 Honda Civic Concept will be released soon.
