The spies at auto Motor und Sport seem restless. The German magazine has just released a new 2012 Honda Civic spy video showing the hatchback version of the Japanese model. However, we might be wrong. Under the heavy camouflage, they might have hidden the sedan version of the 2012 Honda Civic. In any case, we can’t see much of the styling of the new model from under that tank-armor-looking camo.
The technical specs of the 2012 Honda Civic are scarce at the moment. We do know the 2012 Honda Civic will feature a new diesel, which will have a smaller displacement than the current 2.2-liter, and the company's new dual-clutch transmission.
The general proportions of the 2012 Honda Civic will be slightly different in comparison to the current hatch. The new generation model will be lower and wider than the current Civic hatchback.
