The German aftermarket specialists from Posaidon revealed today a new powerkit for the latest generation 2014 Mercedes E63 AMG sedan. The new powerkit is called the RS850. Posaidon's power kit for the E63 AMG Merc increases the output of the 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine to 853 PS and 1,300 Nm of torque. This is 296 hp and a massive 580 Nm of torque more than the factory car. With so much power under its hood, Posaidon's 2014 Mercedes E63 AMG RS850 is able to reach a top speed of 345 km/h. Posaidon's powerkit for the E63 AMG includes a strengthened transmission and rear axle. The package also includes a reprogrammed ECU, upgraded turbochargers, improved air cooling, a more capable intake system, and a bespoke exhaust.
The new exhaust system includes turbo downpipes, racing sports catalyzers and flap control. Apart from this extreme powerkit, Posaidon is offering various other stages of performance upgrades for the 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine from AMG. Their output ranges from 630 PS to 749 PS. Posaidon did not disclose the price of their new powerkit for the 2014 Mercedes E63 AMG.
