Brabus revealed today a burgundy version of their Mercedes E63 AMG, which they launched back in September last year. Brabus' powerkit for the Mercedes E63 AMG increases the output of the high-performance sedan's 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine to 850 hp and 1,150 Nm of torque. The new power kit for the 2014 Mercedes E63 AMG increases the displacement of the engine to 5.9-liter (5,461 cc to 5,912 cc / 333 to 361 cu. in.). Apart from the displacement increase, the Mercedes E63 AMG powerkit also includes a precision-balanced billet crankshaft with an increased stroke, forged billet pistons and billet piston rods. Brabus' E63 AMG powerkit also includes an upgraded turbocharging system, a larger compressor unit, a special manifold, and an optimized intakes system.

The new power kit for the 2014 E63 AMG also offers an air filter box with a larger cross section, an air duct integrated into the hood, and a larger intake pipe.

To get more power of the E63 AMG's engine, Brabus coated the intake and charge-air pipes with Gold Heat Reflection sheathing. They also equipped the E63 AMG with a bespoke sport exhaust system with free-flow metal catalysts, and a controlled butterfly valve. The Brabus powerkit for the Mercedes E63 AMG includes a re-programmed ECU too.



Brabus offers a warranty of three years, up to 100,000 kilometers/62,000 miles for their new powerkit for the Mercedes E63 AMG.

Equipped with the new power kit, the Brabus Mercedes E63 AMG is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.1 seconds and to reach a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

Brabus did not disclose the price of their new powerkit for the Mercedes E63 AMG.
