Mercedes-Benz offered today preview of the future generation 2014 S Class. The design of the 2014 Mercedes S Class is being anticipated by the "Aesthetics S" sculpture, which is going to be unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, on 27 September. The Aesthetics S is not an accurate reproduction of the future Mercedes S Class (2014), however, it will provide a general idea about the luxury saloon's proportions and design language. Apparently, the design of the future 2014 S Class is influenced by four past versions, which include the model series 189, 108, 126 and 221. Unfortunately, these are about the only details released by Mercedes regarding the future generation of their flagship model, the S Class.
We can make a few speculations regarding the new S Class. It will probably be available with both petrol and diesel engines, and it will almost certainly offer two performance versions: the S63 AMG and the S65 AMG. The 2014 Mercedes S63 AMG is going to be powered by the new 5.5-liter Biturbo V8, while the 2014 S65 AMG will have the 6.0-liter V12 engine.
