Ariel Nomad: From the Creators of the Atom

Ariel, the company that created the famous Atom, revealed recently the Nomad. The Ariel Nomad is an off-road vehicle that weighs 670kg and develops 235 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Its power comes from a 2.4-liter engine that was developed by Honda. Ariel's Nomad measures 3,215 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,425 mm in height. It has a 2,348 mm long wheelbase, a 71-degree approach angle and an 82-degree departure angle. The Ariel Nomad, which is going to be available with both RHD and LHD, comes with a Bronze welded tubular chassis, a double unequal wishbone suspension (front and rear), Bilstein dampers and Eibach coil springs. The Nomad features adjustable brakes with 240 mm discs on all four corners.

At the interior, Ariel gave the Nomad an LCD digital display that includes a speedometer and a tachometer, a water temperature gauge, and a trip computer. The LCD also displays information regarding the fuel level, and other data.

According to Ariel's official specifications, the Nomad can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 125 mph.

The Ariel Nomad's price is set at £27,500 (VAT excluded).
