This new Ariel Atom V8 review video is presented by James May in the first episode of the new series of Top Gear. It looks like Captain Slow is getting all the fun lately. after testing the new, and improved Veyron, they also entrusted him to review another vehicle from the mad section, the Ariel Atom V8. Priced at around 100,000 GBP, the Ariel Atom V8 has a better power-to-weight ration than the Veyron. It manages to rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. The reason for behind the amazing acceleration of the Ariel Atom V8 are two Suzuki Hayabusa engines, which were glued together for a total output of 500 hp. The Ariel Atom V8 sends all those horses to its rear wheels via a six-speed transmission.
