This is not a mistake. They actually put the hybrid Honda CR-Z Mugen against one of the fastest production vehicles on the planet, the Ariel Atom. In fact they didn’t even use the standard Ariel Atom, but a modified version, also developed by Mugen. Mugen's Ariel Atom is powered by a 2.0-litre engine developed by Honda, that's been fitted with a new supercharger and now outputs 270 bhp. Even though this doesn't sound like much, the Ariel Atom weighs just a bit more as a snow flake, which makes it a serious competitor for the Veyron. Mugen's version of the Atom also uses the same suspension as the V8 version of the car.
The hybrid Honda CR-Z Mugen has a 1.5-litre petrol engine and an electric motor, which work together
to squeeze 200 PS and 181 lb.ft of torque. Honda claims that the Mugen CR-Z can get from 0 to 60 mph just as fast as Civic Type R.
