Honda UK revealed today the CR-Z Mugen RR design concept, which is meant to demonstrate the company's capabilities in terms of function, style, performance and agility. The RR CR-Z Mugen was developed by Honda's M-TEC division in Japan. and the company says there are no plans at the moment to put it into production. The Honda CR-Z Mugen RR is built with custom parts developed in Japan. Some of them, including the bonnet, the passenger doors and the rear tailgate, are made from carbon fiber.

Honda also equipped the CR-Z Mugen RR with a carbon-fiber underbody, vented front bumpers, a twin central-exit exhaust system and a racing suspension. The CR-Z Mugen RR sits on 18-inch alloy forged wheels and features orange 4-piston

monobloc brake calipers. The orange calipers are made to match the Orange Pearl exterior paint work of the RR.

At the interior, Honda fitted the CR-Z Mugen RR with a leather/Alcantara upholstery, and a race-developed information screen that also works as a data acquisition system, recording the chassis and engine information. The RR also features a Satellite navigation and an audio system, and a special high tech kit that which the car over two laps and learns the track.

After that, it records lap data and tracks the CR-Z Mugen RR using GPS.

The world debut of the Honda CR-Z Mugen RR will take place at the 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Even though Honda says they're not going to build the RR, we bet that if the car gets enough interest, they'll probably put it into production in a limited run.
