The Ariel Atom 3.5 has just been unveiled today, offering a natural evolution from the Atom 3 version. The Ariel Atom 3.5 continues to be powered by the 245 bhp 2.0-liter iVTEC K20Z4 naturally-aspirated engine, which is developed by Honda. However, the supercharged version of the Atom 3.5 gets a bit more power and it's rated with an output of 315 bhp. To get the extra horsepowers, Ariel installed a modified intake and fuel system and reprogrammed the Atom's ECU. Visually, the Ariel Atom 3.5 shows a few differences in comparison to its predecessor. The new 3.5 Atom comes with twin headlights with LED turn signals, LED rear lights and a new bonnet. Ariel says they worked on making the Ariel 3.5 a little more practical when it comes to everyday use.

Ariel says that the new 3.5 Atom is stiffer and that it has more torsional rigidity. This is the result of various changes made to the chassis, which are inspired by the V8 and Mugen versions of the Atom. The Atom 3.5 comes with new dampers as well as modified engine mounts.

At the interior, the Ariel Atom 3.5 shows a new LCD display that's used for showing the speed and the RPMs, as well as the gear indicator and the shift lights. Optionally, the LCD can be configured to display lap times, G forces, and various other data.

Ariel says that they can customize your Ariel 3.5 to be a track weapon, an everyday car, or to combine the best of the two worlds. The Ariel Atom 3.5's price is going to be announced at a later date.
