Lada revealed at this year's Moscow auto show a new and stylish 3-door crossover called the XRay. The name of the vehicle comes from its front end, which is dominated by the headlights, grille and fog lights. All three elements form an "X", hence the name of the new concept. AutoVAZ, the Russian carmaker that developed the Lada XRay, gave it an edgy, but tasteful design, which combines round lines with sharp surfaces. The exterior design of the Lada XRay was drawn by Steve Mattin, who contoured several Volvo and Mercedes model so far. Lada says that the new face of the brand is going to be strongly influenced by the new XRay. Apparently the new concept will be turned into production model in 2015. Unfortunately, Lada did not disclose any technical information regarding the new XRay.

AutoVAZ hopes that, with the help of Mattin and the new Lada XRay, it will be able to break into the European market. So far, Lada has not been a success on the automotive market of the old continent.
