It was just about time the first Ariel Atom V8 review video surfaced the web. In this video, the British journalists from Autocar review the new Ariel Atom V8 on a race track. Where else? Here are some facts about the Ariel Atom V8. The power comes from a 3.0-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine that in the car they reviewed, develops 475 hp. However, the Ariel Atom V8 is also available in a 500+ hp version. The engine, which is mated to a 6-speed transmission, is able to rev up to 10,600 rpm. Thanks to a power-to-weight ratio of 900 bhp per ton, the Ariel Atom V8 is able to warp from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The Ariel Atom V8 price has been set to 150,000 GBP and the company will only build 25 of them.
