Ginetta G40 Review Video

 »  »  »

Steve Sutcliffe from Autocar took the Ginetta G40 recently, and released on video his review of the new Ferrari beater. The Ginetta G40 was developed in Leeds and it's being built in Britain. The power of the G40 comes from a 1.8-liter Zetec engine, which output 150 kg. Even though the horsepower output of the G40 doesn’t seem like much, we have to tell you that the car weighs only 850 kg.

Ginetta built the G40 to comply with FIA regulations and, in some cases, to be even better. It has a FIA approved safety cage, fuel cell, driver's seat and harness, a Quaife ATB differential and a 6 piece composite gel coat bodywork. Braking is taken care of by 280mm ventilated brake discs on all four corners,

4-piston calipers on the front axle and 2-piston calipers on the rear one.

The Ginetta G40 is one of the few racing cars, which are also road legal, that you can buy for less than 30,000 GBP. In fact, Ginetta will sell you a G40 for as little as 24,950 GBP.
