Ginetta revealed today the new 2013 G60 and G40R, which are going to be premiered at the Salon Prive 2013 next month. The 2013 Ginetta G60 is powered by a V6 3.7-liter engine taken from a Ford Mustang, that's able to output 310 bhp. Even though this doesn't seem like mush, thanks to its low weight, the Ginetta G60 is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.9 seconds. Ginetta says that the top speed of the new G60 is 165 mph (264 km/h). The Ginetta G60 is hand-built in Yorkshire, United Kingdom, using a lightweight carbon fiber body. The G60 comes with a bespoke suspension system developed in-house by Ginetta, and a customized ECU and wiring. For the G60, Ginetta also modified the driver's position. The Ginetta G40R is a road-legal version of the G40 sports car.

Even though you can drive it on public streets, the G40R promises to offer all the thrills of a full-fledged racing car. The Ginetta G40R is able to get from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.9 seconds thanks to a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine that puts out 200 hp.

The price and availability of the Ginetta G60 and of the G40R are going to be announced at a later date.
