According to the German press, the Ingolstadt manufacturer will premiere the Audi Anniversario Concept at this year’s Paris auto show. The Audi Anniversario Concept is a design study that has already been spied a few days ago during a photos shoot in Austria. At that time, it was believed the car under the psychedelic camo wrap was the rumored Audi R4. The German journalist from AutoBuild however, believe otherwise. Their sources say the concept is named the Audi Anniversario and that it previews the next generation model of the legendary Sport Quattro.
The Audi Anniversario Concept is actually based on the RS5. The design study has a shortened version of the chassis under the skin of the new performance model.
The production version of the Audi Anniversario Concept will be the successor of the Sport Quattro.
Unfortunately, at this time, there are no details regarding the engine under the hood of the new Audi Anniversario design study, but the Paris show is not so far away.
