According to various sources, the Audi Quattro production confirmed, even though it was not official. Apparently, the Audi Quattro was spotted while on the way to a photo shoot, when someone asked one of the engineers about the car. He managed to get that particular engineer to confirm that the Audi Quattro production will soon become a reality.
The Audi Quattro concept was unveiled earlier this year and registered an immense success. Meant to celebrate the company's famous rally car, the Audi Quattro concept is based on the A5 which has been significantly shortened. The power of the Audi Quattro concept comes from a 2.5-liter turbo engine developing 408 hp and 480 Nm of torque.
It's possible that the same engine will make its way into the production version of the Audi Quattro, but this has not been confirmed yet.
