The GT3 spec Audi R8 LMS has been recently unveiled at the Essen Motor Show and the company has released the first video of the new racing car. The Audi R8 LMS is powered by the same engine as the standard version, but it develops 500 hp. Because it has to be GT3 spec the Audi R8 LMS is rear-wheel-drive instead of four-wheel-drive as the production model and is equipped with a six-speed sequential transmission.
