BMW Z3 V12 Prototype

 »  »  »

As mouthwatering as this looks, the BMW Z3 V12 you see in these images is just a prototype built by the M division years ago. Unfortunately, it never went into production, but it demonstrates that it can be done, despite the small space underneath the hood of the Z3. We're sure that at this point, quite a few of you are thinking of doing it themselves. Imagine how much fun you could have in a V12 powered BMW Z3. You would probably go through the pearly gates on fire in it, but who cares? We're not really sure which V12 BMW used for this Z3, but we have a hunch it's a 5.4-liter with 326 hp and 490 Nm of torque. With a car the size of the Z3 and with more than 300 hp under the hood, you could do some real damage on the race track.

BMW's M division did not disclose the reason for which they posted these images on their Bookface page, but we're grateful for it.
