Brabus Mercedes G63 AMG

Brabus revealed today their new aftermarket program for the Mercedes G63 AMG, which had its debut last spring. Even though the name says G63, instead of the expected 6.3-liter V8 engine, the Brabus Mercedes G63 AMG comes with the new 5.5-liter V8 biturbo unit, which develops 544 hp and 760 Nm of torque. However, Brabus gave the G63 a few more ponies, so that it develops 620 hp and 800 Nm of torque now. To get the extra 76 hp and 40 Nm out of the G63AMG's engine, Brabus installed an additional intercooler and reprogrammed the SUV's ECU. Brabus left the exterior and interior of the G63 AMG virtually untouched. They only gave it a set of 23-inch alloys finished in black and a set of yellow brake calipers.

The Brabus Mercedes G63 AMG also comes with a new suspension system, so that the extra power can be put on the street efficiently, and a bespoke exhaust system with valve control. Brabus did not disclose the price of their new package for the Mercedes G63 AMG.
