
Brabus revealed today the B63S 700 WIDESTAR, which is based on the new Mercedes GL63 AMG. The new Brabus Mercedes GL63 AMG is going to be premiered tomorrow, at the 2013 Frankfurt International Motor Show. The new Brabus GL63 AMG is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine, that has a power output of 515 kW / 700 hp and 960 Nm (708 lb-ft) of torque from 2,000 rpm. Even though it weighs more than 2 tons, the Brabus GL63 is able to accelerate from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.6 seconds. Brabus says that the top speed of their GL63 AMG is 300 km/h (186 mph. The Brabus GL63 comes with the standard AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission. Brabus' program for the Mercedes GL63 AMG includes larger turbos, a bespoke stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system, and an optimized intake system.
The Brabus Mercedes GL63 AMG is fitted with a wide body kit that includes front and rear spoiler, and wider fenders, obviously, that add eight centimeters (3.1 inches) in width. This is the reason Brabus was able to fir the GL63 AMG with huge 23-inch alloys. The SUV is also equipped with a modified AIRMATIC air suspension, and a bespoke interior.
Brabus is going to announce the price of their new mods for the Mercedes GL63 AMG at a later date.
