According to our German sources, the French carmaker is planning to launch on the market the Citroen DS4 Racing Hybrid. Similar to the DS3 R (Racing), the Citroen DS4 Racing Hybrid will be a sporty, and green, version of the regular DS4. The exact specs of the Citroen DS4 Racing Hybrid are not known yet. However, we do know that the Citroen DS4 Racing Hybrid will be powered by a 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine developing around 200 hp and an electric motor with an output of around 95 hp.
Apart from the future Citroen DS4 Racing Hybrid, the same sources disclose the fact that the DS4 will be made available with an all-wheel-drive system starting from 2013.
It's not certain at the moment whether or not the Citroen DS4 Racing Hybrid will feature this new AWD system.
