As part of their new collaboration, Ducati and Mercedes AMG revealed today a special edition of the Diavel motorbike. The Ducati Diavel AMG is based on the flagship version of the 2012 model range, and represents a tribute to the German car manufacturer's iconic high performance division. The first Ducati 'AMG' is based on the Diavel Carbon and comes with several unique features. The most striking one are its 5-spoke AMG-styled wheels, followed by the AMG-style sport exhaust system with engraved end-caps. The AMG Diavel also features carbon fiber lateral radiator grills with an aluminum trim and an horizontally ribbed seat with Alcantara upholstery. The engine of each Ducati Diavel AMG has engraved on its left side, the name of the engineer who tuned its Desmodromic cam-timing by hand.

Each Ducati Diavel AMG is built by hand and features matte black carbon fiber bodywork and an AMG-style Diamond White Bright stripe.

Ducati did not announce the Diavel AMG price yet, but the company does mention that the new special edition will go on sale in early 2012, alongside with an exclusively designed leather jacket and helmet apparel. The world debut of the Diavel AMG will take place at the Frankfurt auto show next week.
