Ducati revealed today the 1199 Panigale S Senna at the Sao Paulo Motorcycle Show to pay tribute to the Formula 1 legend. Twenty years after the passing of Ayrton Senna, Ducati presents the 1199 Panigale S Senna as a tribute to one of the best drivers in motorsport history. The Senna version of the Ducati 1199 Panigale S is going to be available exclusively on the Brazilian market and it will be a limited edition series of just 161 motorcycles. This is the same number of F1 Grand Prix races Ayrton Senna took part in. According to Ducati, the color scheme of the 1199 Panigale S Senna was chosen by Ayrton himself during a visit that preceded his last race in Imola in 1994. The 1199 Panigale S Senna is equipped with a racing exhaust system. Each bike is going to have its individual production number.
Ducati is going to announce the price of the 1199 Senna at a later date.
