Volkswagen announced today that for its home market, the Volkswagen Tiguan will received a front-wheel-drive version. The FWD Volkswagen Tiguan will be available with either one of two engines: the 1.4-liter TSI engine with 110 kW / 150 hp that needs 7.4 liters of fuel to go 100 kilometers, or the 2.0-liter TDI engine developing 103 kW / 140 hp and 320 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. The FWD Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI price is 27,900 Euros and offers a 5.9 liters / 100 km fuel consumption. The FWD Volkswagen Tiguan 1.4 TSI price is 25,800 Euros.
