Gumpert Recovering After Insolvency

 »  »  »

Gumpert announced today that it has received several new orders for the Apollo, which means it started to recover from insolvency. Gumpert's insolvency proceedings were scheduled to start on 16th October 2012, but a few days later they sold the first new car. Insolvency administrator Mr. Gorge Scheid says that, as Gumpert has several orders into negotiation, the carmaker is going to be able to continue the business. Gumpert has also started negotiations with new investors. They say their cards are on their self-contained technical developments, which hopefully will help them during this difficult time for the car industry. Every Gumpert Apollo is hand-made to customer specifications, so each car is unique.

Gumpert says they expect to sell at least four or five cars in the following quarter, with orders expected from Japan, China, Turkey and the Middle East.

Let's wish Gumpert good luck!
