H&R Press Release:

Dodge Nitro under European Influence

No crossover and no modern frills. The Dodge Nitro is a car with character.

But, the chassis of the brawny mid-size SUV is designed for the layout of American highways. Drivers who want the Dodge’s setup to be a bit

more European, will now find what they are looking for with the suspension specialist H&R. H&R’s spring kit lowers the square-jawed Dodge by about 40 millimeters which not only results in an even better look, but also in improved driving dynamics.

The lowered centre of gravity and the tightened characteristic of the H&R springs have a further advantage: The turn-in behavior is optimized and the roll motions are minimized – and all this without any loss of comfort. The perfect adjustment for European highways and motorways.

In addition to this, H&R TRAK+ wheel spacers reduce over- and understeering tendencies and the prominently flared wheel arches give great optics. All H&R TRAK+ wheel spacers are made of a high-strength and nevertheless extremely light aluminium alloy. They are anodized to guarantee optimal corrosion protection. A weight saving of up to 70 percent as compared to conventional steel wheel spacers helps to keep down the unsprung mass.

Broad-shouldered, H&R’s Nitro model stands out in a crowd and masters any corner with absolute precision. Sometimes, a European influence is not so bad at all.
