During last weekend's Formula 1 race at Monza, Italy, a HRT mechanic was involved in a serious accident with one of the team's F1 cars. One of the HRT Formula 1 cars was in the pits during the race for a tire change. Unfortunately for one of the mechanics, he didn't pull away from the race car in time and he was hit by one of its rear tires. According to an official press release from the HRT Formula 1 Team, the mechanic was not seriously injured, despite the horrific images in this video. The mechanic received immediate medical treatment and according to the official statement never lost consciousness. However, this video seems to show otherwise.
