The Kicherer Mercedes CLS500 Edition Black program unveiled today, is based on the latest generation of the elegant German four-door coupe. The Kicherer Edition Black CLS500 is covered in a matte black foil, and sits on large, 20 inch RS-1 forged wheels, developed in-house by the tuner. Kicherer also says that their new CLS has received sportier chassis settings, but they don't go into details. They probably lowered the coupe's ride height and maybe stiffened its suspension.
For extra power, Kicherer fits the Mercedes CLS500 Black with a re-mapped ECU, which increases its output to 440 hp (324 kW) and 630 Nm of torque, measured at the drive shaft. the extra umpf should improve that car's performance significantly.
Kicherer's CLS500 Edition Black also features an upgraded set of brakes with steel flex lines, and the tuner's PowerConverter system, which improves the response you'll get from the transmission.
For the interior of the Mercedes CLS500, Kicherer offers a black package, which includes the upholstery and various trim parts. The price of the program will be announced in the near future.
