The aftermarket specialists from Prior Design revealed today the new PD550 Black Edition aerodynamic package for the 2011 Mercedes CLS (W218). The Prior Mercedes CLS PD550 Black Edition is actually a wide body kit, which means you get broader fenders and wheel arches. Prior's PD550 kit for the Mercedes CLS also includes a new front bumper with large air vents, integrated LED daytime running lights and what seems to be a carbon fiber splitter. The new Prior Mercedes CLS is also fitted with new side skirts, a modified rear bumper with an integrated carbon diffuser, a restyled bonnet with vents for cooling the engine compartment, and a discreet boot lid spoiler. Apart from the aggressive body kit, the Prior PD550 Mercedes CLS is also fitted with a set of light alloy wheels with a 5-double spoke design and a metallic gray finish.
Prior also swaps the factory exhaust system of the Mercedes CLS with a bespoke one with four somewhat rectangular tail pipes.
