Apart from the road legal version of the Evora GTE race car, Lotus will also premiere at the upcoming Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance the Exige Matte Black Final Edition. The Matte Black Exige is a special edition model, developed by Lotus especially for the North American market. Lotus will sell the Exige Matte Black in the USA only, and they will build it in only 25 units.
The Lotus Exige Matte Black Final Edition will get a look thanks to its dark paint finish, Alcantara sport bucket seats and a "high level of standard equipment". To power the Exige Matte Black, Lotus uses their Toyota-developed 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine, which is good for 257 bhp.
Lotus did not announce the price of the Final Edition Exige Matte Black, but they do say it has the potential of becoming "an instant collectible". This usually means the pretty high price tag.
