Luxgen unveiled today at the Shanghai auto show their new electric concept, the Neora. The Luxgen Neora is a front-wheel-drive four-door sedan, powered by a 180kW electric induction motor which is juiced by a 48 kWh lithium-ion battery. Luxgen says the Neora has a range of up to 400 km and that it requires just an hour for an 80% re-charge. The performance figures Luxgen Neora are quite impressive, taking into account the fact that it's a large electric sedan. Luxgen says it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.5 seconds and that it has a top speed of 250 km/h.

Luxgen equipped the Neora with a PDLC electric glass sunroof, an LED infotainment screen for the rear passengers, and a head-up display for the driver.

Luxgen took special care when it comes to the aerodynamics of the Neora. The car features a minimum of intake area to reduce drag, together with other innovative design features.

The Neora is currently in a concept phase and Luxgen is not saying when, or if, it will go into production.
