Manhart Racing revealed today their latest BMW M3 aftermarket program, which is called the MH3 V8 RS Clubsport. Based on the E92 M3, the MH3 V8 RS Clubsport comes with a very serious power increase and a racing inspired body kit. In fact, Manhart new M3 is powered by the same 4.4-liter V8 engine as the mighty X6M and the X5M. In standard form, this engine is good for 555 hp. However, for this application, Manhart increased its output to 750 hp and a monstrous 910 Nm of torque. To get the extra power, Manhart increased the engine's charging air cooler, modified the turbos, and reinforced the pistons and the rods. The Manhart BMW M3 also features the same cooler package as the X6M and an oil cooler.
With a weight of just 1,590 kg, the Manhart's BMW M3 has a 2.12 kg / hp power-to-weight ratio, which is a lot more than the Lamborghini Aventador (700 HP, 1.575 kg). To be able to manage all that power, Manhart fitted their new M3 with X6M 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Manhart BMW M3 is rated with a top speed of 350 km/h and a zero to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of just 3.2 seconds.
Manhart's MH3 V8 RS Clubsport program for the BMW M3 E92 also includes a new titanium exhaust system with 80-mm tail pipes. For extra stopping power, Manhart's M3 uses a set of MOVIT performance brakes with 396x34 millimeter discs with 6 piston fixed callipers on the front and 380x32 millimeter discs with 4-piston callipers on the rear axle.
The aerodynamics package of the Manhart BMW M3 includes a new bonnet with large air vents, a new front apron, side skirts, a CSL-style boot lid, a rear diffuser, wheel arch extensions, and a huge boot wing. All these parts are made from carbon fiber for low weight.
The Manhart MH3 V8 RS Clubsport sits on 9x20 inch (front) and 12x20 inch (rear) alloys and Continental Sport Contact 5 high-performance tires.
For thew interior of the BMW M3, Manhart is offering carbon full-shell seats, a carbon fiber interior package, a sports steering wheel with illuminated switches and a Wiechers roll cage.
Manhart did not disclose the price of the MH3 V8 RS Clubsport BMW M3.
