The first official photos and details of the new Mercedes GLA Class leaked over the web, just a few days before the new crossover's premiere, which is going to take place next weekend. AS you can see from these images, the Mercedes GLA is just a concept of the moment. Even though some of the design details of the concept will be lost on the way to the production line, the future Mercedes GLA will look pretty much the same. The GLA Class measures 172.4 inches in length, 77.6 inches in width, and 61.8 inches in height. It has a 106.3-inch long wheelbase. The Mercedes GLA concept, which is going to be on display at this year's Shanghai auto show, is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which develops 211 hp. This will be the Mercedes GLA250, which is going to be equipped with a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and a 7G-DCT dual-clutch transmission.
Apparently, the GLA concept comes with huge 20-inch alloys with 255/45 R20 tires. Other design new design details of the GLS include the dual exhaust system with two large rectangular tail pipes, the rear diffuser / guard and the roof spoiler.
For the interior of the GLA, Mercedes chose four individual sport seats covered in brown leather. Parts of its center console, dashboard, steering wheel and door trim are covered in the same brown leather.
