The Nissan Juke-R was unveiled towards the end of last week, but the Japanese carmaker continues to release new videos explaining its build process. Today we take a closer look at the modifications needed for the Juke-R to handle similar to the GT-R. For starters, RML's engineers made the Juke-R as lightweight as possible, then they gave it a roll-cage made using a motorsport association template. The Juke-R features special settings for the dampers and springs and stiffer anti-roll bars. The stiffer anti-roll bar has to compensate for the weight transfer of the higher body of the Juke.

The Nissan Juke-R is equipped with the same tires and the same brakes as the 2011 version of the GT-R. The brakes are a bit bigger and offer more stopping power.

Few of you know that the GT-R's 4WD system is fully adaptable. All the engineers had to do was to reprogram it order for it to work with Juke's specifications.

In the next clip we'll see how they added the finishing touches. Meanwhile, watch a brief explanation of the Juke-R handling mods below.
