Nissan Super Juke

Various sources are reporting today that Nissan Europe is working on a GT-R powered Juke. The Super Juke will be a one-off model, powered by the same 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine as the GT-R, which develops 520 bhp. Can you even imagine what such a small car could do with more than 500 hp? The Nissan Super Juke will also receive an all-wheel-drive system, which will greatly improve the three-door crossover's handling and agility. Apparently, Nissan's Super Juke will be able to rocket from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in around 4 seconds and to reach a top speed of 170 mph. At such high speeds, Nissan will have to improve Juke's aerodynamics, so it won't take off. A rear wing, new side skirts and possibly a rear diffuser should do the trick of keeping the Super Juke on the ground.

To be able to handle so much horsepower, the Nissan Super Juke will have to get an upgraded chassis, with a stiffer and lower suspension and most probably bigger brakes. Nissan did not mention any details regarding the interior of the Super Juke.

One of the Nissan's officials disclosed the fact that the Super Juke is currently just a study, but he did not mention what does the company plan to do with it. Nissan will debut the super Juke in the near future.
