The German aftermarket specialists from Prior Design usually focus on European models. However, this week they took care of some American muscle. Their new aerodynamics package for the Ford Mustang apply to all C5 pony models, from 2009 onwards. The new Prior Ford Mustang body kit includes a new front apron, with large air intakes and a low profile, which give the vehicle a more aggressive look, new side skirts, and a re-designed rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. Prior's body kit for the Mustang is made from an epoxy-based plastic fibre composite material, which allows a cost efficient paint job.
Prior's Ford Mustang also features a new exhaust system featuring four stainless steel tail pipes and new light alloy rims with a double 5-spoke design and low profile tires.
Prior says that their new body kit can be installed even on PDC equipped Mustangs, as long as slots are cut for the sensors. The Prior Ford Mustang price will be announced at a later date.
