The Rimac Concept One supercar had its world debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, where it took the audience by storm with its 1088 hp. The Croationas from Rimac Automobili develped a completly new powertrain for the Concept One, which incldeus four sub-systems, each consitntinfg of a motor, an inverter and a reduction gearbox. Each motor is used for powering one of the concept's wheels, obviously. Rimac's new powertrain is called All Wheel Torque Vectoring.

The total output of Rimac's Concept One is 1088 hp and an indisclosed amount of torque. With a weight of 1650 kg, the Rimac Concept One is able to acceleraet from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and to reach a top speed of 305 km/h.

To juice the motors of the Concept One, Rimac chose a 92kWh battery pack, which offers the new electrci supercar a range of up to 600 km. The Concept_One, as Rimac likes to write it, features a carbon-fibre body which was designed by Adriano Mudri. The interior of the hyper car was styled by a team of former Pininfarina employees, led by Mr. Goran Popovic. The leather upholstery used for the concept is made by Vilner, a Bulgarian tuning specialist.

The Rimac Concept One features an infotainment system, a head-up display and various other toys.

The Rimac Concept One price was not announced yet. The company plans to build 88 units of the vehicle, and to start delivering it from 2013.
