Subaru has released today a new set of Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept images ahead of the vehicles debut at the Tokyo Auto Show. The company still has to release the name of the new concept. The Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer engine and two electric motors, one for each axle. The two electric motors of the Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept develop 10kW at the front axle and 20kW at the rear one.
The Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept is based on the company's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) architecture and anticipates a new grand touring model. The company says the Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept will offer comfort and safety while having a minimum impact on the environment.
