Subaru revealed today the full specifications, details and pricing of the new XV Crosstrek Hybrid, which will go on sale towards the end of this year. The Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder BOXER engine, which is mated to a Lineartronic CVT transmission and the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. The gearbox of the Subaru XV Hybrid includes an electric motor that offers 13.4 extra hp and 48 lb. –ft of torque more. The hybrid Subaru XV comes equipped with Active Torque Split, an independent suspension system on all four wheels, and a re-tuned chassis. The XV hybrid offers 8.7 inches of ground clearance. The cargo area of the hybrid XV comes with a removable cover, a removable waterproof cargo tray, tie-down hooks and grocery bag hooks.
Subaru is offering various accessories to fit on the XV Hybrid's roof rails for carrying bicycles and kayaks.
The Subaru XV Hybrid's equipment list includes LED rear lights, a color multi-function display, a 4.3-inch LCD screen, a rear vision camera, a 6.1-inch touch screen LCD display for the satellite navigation with voice control, the Aha® Infotainment smartphone integration system and keyless access and start.
Subaru is going to sell the hybrid XV with an automatic climate control system, body-color foldable side mirrors with integral turn signals, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and chrome exterior door handles.
The Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid's price list starts at $25,995 MSRP for the entry level model and it goes up to $29,295 MSRP for the Touring version. These prices do not include the $825 Destination & Delivery charge.
