Subaru revealed today the 2011 Frankfurt auto show the new XV SUV, which will go on sale this November. Even though the Subaru XV price list has not been announced, the Japanese car maker says it will start delivering it from January 2012. The Subaru XV measures 4,450 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width and 1,570 mm in height and has a 2,635 mm wheelbase. It offers seats for five passengers and needs a road clearance of minimum 220 mm. Subaru will sell the XV with a choice between two boxer petrol engines, a 1.6-liter and a 2.0-liter, and a 2.0-liter boxer diesel engine. The Subaru XV will come equipped as standard with a CVT Lineartronic transmission and an Auto Start Stop system.

Subaru says that the new XV SUV will offer plenty

of interior room for passengers and their luggage. Some of XV's distinctive exterior design features include its hexagon grille and hawk eye headlights, together with newly designed set of wheels.

At the interior of the Subaru XV features the car maker's Multi-Function Display system, integrated into the instrument panel, which includes 4.3 inches full-color LCD which also serves as an eco-driving display and information display.

In terms of safety, the Subaru XV features several SRS airbags, a VDC (Vehicle Dynamics Control) and system.
