Subaru announced today that it will debut at the Geneva auto show this year an Impreza crossover which will be called the Subaru Impreza XV. The Subaru Impreza XV is based on the 5-door model and the company says it has a distinct styling. among others, the Subaru Impreza XV has a newly designed front grille and wheel arches, a roof spoiler and special roof rails.
The Subaru Impreza XV will offer a choice between two boxer engine, one petrol and one diesel. The gasoline powered Subaru Impreza XV will feature the 2.0-litre Horizontally-opposed unit while the diesel will have the company’s BOXER DIESEL unit. Both comply with the European EURO 5 CO2 emissions standard.
The Subaru Impreza XV has a 2,620 mm wheels base and measures 4,430 mm in length, 1,770 mm in width and 1,520mm in height. The diesel version of the Subaru Impreza XV sits a little lower at 1,515mm.
The Subaru Impreza XV price and availability will be announced at a later date.
