Toyota revealed today the new ME.WE Concept saying that it actually is four cars merged into one. The Toyota ME.WE aims to embody an anti-crisis vehicle, that fits perfectly with the contemporary human, economic and environmental challenges. It measures 3,440 mm in length, 1,750 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height. It has a tubular aluminum chassis and a body made of Polyproylene panels. Toyota says that the ME.WE weighs just 750 kg, even though it offers plenty of space for four passengers. The ME.WE's body panels weigh just 14 kg. The Toyota ME.WE is powered by four electric motors, located in each of the wheels. This means it can be driven in 2WD or in a 4WD mode. The batteries used to power the electric motors are located underneath the floor.

This means that the ME.WE Concept can use all its interior space for its passengers and their luggage. The rear bench of the ME.WE can be folded, so that the concept can be transformed into some kind of pick-up. The rear bench can also be removed to be used as a picnic seating.

Toyota equips the ME.WE concept a single screen above the steering wheel which displays such information as vehicle speed, battery charge, journey information and navigation instructions. Of course, you can plug-in your smartphone to listen to music and to control the on-board temperature. The windows and windscreen of the Toyota ME.WE can all be opened.

This means that the Toyota ME.WE can be used as a pick-up, a convertible, an off-roader and a small city car.
