Toyota FV2, JPN Taxi, Voxy and Noah Concepts

 »  »  »

Toyota is going to present five concepts at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Show, including the FV2, the JPN Taxi, the Voxy, the Noah and the FCV we presented earlier. The Toyota FV2 is not equipped with a steering wheel. To control it, the driver must shift his body to tell it to mode forwards, backwards, left or right. Well, who said that would be tricky to drive? Toyota's Heart Project aims to develop a technology that will allow the driver and the FV2 to develop an emotional relationship. The Toyota FV2 features voice and image recognition to determine the driver's mood. In this way, the FV2 is able to suggest driving destinations, and to present driving skills information. The FV2 uses an augmented reality (AR) display.

The Toyota JPN Taxi Concept is powered by an LPG hybrid system and it features large, electric doors and a low, flat floor. It offers five seats.

The Voxy and Noah concepts preview the future generation of the seven-seat compact MPV models. The new Toyota Voxy and Noah concepts are scheduled to go into production early next year.
