Do you know why racing is easy? Because you can always count on the fact that land will always be there. This however, was not the case in this new publicity stunt from Audi. They put the Audi R8 in a Top Gear style drag race against an acrobatics plane on an aircraft carrier. The event took place in September 2007 on the USS Midway carrier in San Diego, California. The Audi R8 had to race a Red Bull branded Edge 540 plane. It's not clear which vehicle won, but it's the race that counts.
