The Wiesmann MF5 Roadster has been unveiled with the company releasing the complete details of their new model. The Wiesmann MF5 Roadster features a fiberglass-composite body, with a retractable soft-top and a laminated glass windshield. The power of the Wiesmann MF5 Roadster comes from a 5.0-liter V10 front mid-engine with a 3-way catalytic converter and fuel injection. the power output of the Wiesmann MF5 Roadster is 507 hp at 7.750 rpm and 520 Nm of torque at 6.100 rpm. The engine of the Wiesmann MF5 Roadster is coupled with a SMG sequential 7-speed gearbox from BMW. With a maximum speed of 310 km/h, the Wiesmann MF5 Roadster can reach 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
The security systems of the Wiesmann MF5 Roadster include an integrated side impact protection, ABS, DSC, a safety steering column adjustable in height and length, BMW's security system incl electronic immobilizer (EWS III), 3-point seat belts, Hydraulic Power Steering and driver and front passenger airbags.
Only 55 units of the Wiesmann MF5 Roadster will be built, each with a price tag of 189,500 Euros.
