This 1,000 hp BMW M5 E34 has been unveiled at this year's Bucharest Tuning Days by the "The Others" racing club. If you think 1,000 wheel hp is amazing, you'll be even more amazed by the fact that the car only weighs 1,000 kg. To get all these horses this BMW M5 E34, called Gollum, has underwent some serious modifications.

The engine of the 1,000 hp BMW M5 E34 has received Ross Racing Piston pistons, L1HR rods, a Borg Warner S400 Series RC turbocharger, custom overhead camshafts, custom intake and exhaust valves, a Turbosmart westgate and a custom exhaust system. The 1,000 hp BMW M5 E34 also features a new fuel pump, FWRC NASCAR style dry sump lubrication, a Mezierre water cooling system and a Tilton three plate clutch.

The power of the engine is sent to the rear wheel via a Tremec 5-speed transmission.

The 1,000 hp BMW M5 E34 also comes with new engine electronics including a Vi-pec V88 Full Stand Alone ECU and individual electronic ignition on each cylinder.

Of course all this extra power requires a new chassis. The 1,000 hp BMW M5 E34 comes with a full tubular chassis and a custom Strange Eng rear axle. Gollum sits on OZ Alegeritta HLT 18"x12J rims

on the rear and 18"x8.5J rims on the front and Mickey Thompson tires. It also comes with a custom suspension system, and Fi 360 mm ventilated front brake discs and Fi 315 mm discs and the rear.

You might think would use out of the box seats, but they didn't. They were just too heavy. So they fitted the 1,000 hp BMW M5 E34 with handmade aluminum seats, each weighing just 4.5 kg.

The 1,000 hp BMW M5 E34 also comes with various monitoring systems including oil temperature for the different systems, exhaust gas temperature,

the air/gas mixture in the engine and an RPM gauge. No speedometer needed.

The only thing we can say to these guys is that we can't wait to see it race.
