Lotus announced the updates for the 2008 Lotus Europa S and the 2008 Lotus Europa SE that will be presented at this years Geneva Motor Show. The 2008 Lotus Europa price starts at £27,950 MSRP and goes up to £32,995 MSRP for the top of the range 2008 Lotus Europa SE. The 2008 Lotus Europa has been designed especially for the old continent and will only be sold on this market starting from June this year.
The vehicle is powered by a mid-mounted 2 liter turbo charged engine that develops 225 PS and with 300 Nm of torque in the 2008 Lotus Europa SE. With this engine it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds and has a top speed of around 143 mph.
The 2008 Lotus Europa SE features a double wishbone suspension, new light weight wheels and performance tires, AP Racing four pot brakes and larger (308 mm) diameter discs.
The interior of the 2008 Lotus Europa SE includes lightweight high-grade leather, driver and passenger airbags, an engine start button, sports seats and a high quality stereo system.
